Heavy Loads

As standard, each square metre of the storage mezzanine flooring will be able to withstand up to 500kg. This limit is referred to as the UDL (Uniformly Distributed Load), and it also includes the use of a hand pallet truck when carrying a 500kg pallet. Not only that but if you require heavier loads for your storage mezzanine, you simply consult with our team and we will be able to increase this load limit in the design process, built to withstand any weight requirement you specify.

The Main Ancillaries

The first is the staircase, which is obviously a necessity to access the mezzanine floor, but there are different designs that you may choose from. Secondly, to accompany the staircases are the handrails – an important safety feature needed to prevent any accidents or injuries. To take extra precaution, we can install a kick plate at the bottom to make sure that no loose objects fall from the floor. Lastly, you may install a pallet gate, with a choice of either a pulley gate, swing gate, or an up-and-over gate.
